About Leukemia

According to American Society of Hematology, leukemia is a type of cancer found in your blood and bone marrow and is caused by the rapid production of abnormal white blood cells. These abnormal white blood cells are not able to fight infection and impair the ability of the bone marrow to produce red blood cells and platelets.

According to WHO, in 2020, an estimated 475,000 people were diagnosed with leukemia worldwide and about 311,000 women died from the disease.

The Challenge

The lack of manpower for blood cancer professionals, high difficulty in diagnosis, long training time for personnel, and difficulty in filling the gap between needs are the difficulties encountered in the current judgment of Leukemia.
